Process Variables and Interactions

This webinar is designed for compounding applications on intermeshing, co-rotating twin-screw extruders.

Using computer process simulation, this webinar demonstrates the effects of changing twin-screw extruder process parameters (screw speed, feed rate, barrel temperature) on system response parameters: torque, specific energy; melt temperature; die pressure; degree-of-fill and residence time. The relationship between these primary process parameters and the resulting compound product quality is discussed.
