Strategies for Problem Solving

The pattern of variation during a continuous production lot can be used to identify (or eliminate) specific assignable causes depending on the time scale involved. This webinar will review the more common assignable causes of within-lot variability as well as lot-to-lot reproducibility.

We also review patterns of defects in terms of location/orientation to identify potential sources; are the black specs only on the outer die holes? are the voids in the pellets randomly distributed – or are they always aligned in the center? These types of questions will help to define the root cause(s) of such problems.
