Solving Vent Problems

Nearly every twin-screw extruder with a vent port has some operational “issues” with material – other than vapor - coming out of the vent port(s).

The process requirements for venting (both atmospheric and vacuum) are presented in terms of operational stability. For example, is the vent port flooding due to the pressure drop of the melt seal – or is it due to back-up from the die? The most common causes (and potential solutions) for vent port fouling will be exposed during this webinar.
